<Marie>
She agrees with this idea because it's convenient for students with geographical problems.
<Marie>
She agrees with this idea because it's possible to reduce the transportation costs of students coming from far away. She refers to some advantages that they can lead a healthy life and can study together.
<Emma>
She agrees with this idea. She thinks that reducing the number of students coming by public transport from afar will also reduce pollution.
<Lily>
She agrees with this idea because it will be easier for international students to come to Apollo.
If do that, Apollon's economy will be better.
<Blood>
He disagrees with this idea. When he was a high school student in another country, he lived in a dormitory, but there were many regulations and he had no freedom.
Questions From the Audience
1. Who will be the dormitory mother? (Nancy)
→ Marie answered that we will hire a new person for the housemother.
2. Who pays the amount of construction costs? (Lauren)
→ Lily answered this question. This is school's dormitory, so the school should pay.
3. If the school pays for the construction, will the tuition go up? (Lily,C)
→ Robert answered Apollon's school is maintained by taxes, so you don't have to pay tuition.
4. Who will protect and take responsibility for the students if an incident occurs? (Anne)
→ Rose answered that housemother and the school take responsibility. We will make dormitories near by schools, so it's safe.
5. A new virus has been discovered since last month, but what should you do about it?(Nancy)
→ Blood answered it has not come to Apollon yet, so it's okey. Rose added that we would not accept international students yet.
6. Are high school students who are offered three meals and college students who are offered only two meals the same dormitory fee? (Lily,C)
→ Blood answered that we should set up additional fee for high school students.
7. If students go back their home during long vacation, do they have to pay the regular fee?(Olivia)
→ Emma answered they can choose whether to return. If they go home, they don't have to pay the fee in the meantime.
8. You care about distance issues, but Apollo is a small country. The distance is not so long, but do they really need a dormitory? (Robert)
→ Marie answered that the main reason to build it is to live healthily and spend good life, so we have to build it for student. Rose added that even if it's not that big, it may take about 45 kilometers to go to school. she thought there were some students who find it troublesome.
9. High school has a school bus, so if you want to build a dormitory, why not just the university? (Robert)
→ Everyone agreed with this idea.
Result
They can reach the consensus.
Build a small university dormitory. The dormitory facility costs 1500 yen a month, and two meals, morning and evening, are provided to students. The school manages it and hires a house mother.
My Opinion
It was a relatively smooth discussion. If one were to wish for more, I wanted to hear more from the opposition, but they also decided on the details. When my child grows up, I want them to use it. I want to praise their first consensus!
